I developed five character designs for Jamstree, an AI-driven game development company.

Jamstree utilizes AI throughout its development process and integrated systems, and its characters and visual assets are also created using AI-based workflows. In response to the company’s needs, I designed AI characters optimized for AI character modeling.

Jamstree already had approximately 25 existing characters. The new designs were developed as additional character friends living in a “Forest Town” setting.
For an AI-guided game system based on Baduk, I developed a village of characters inspired by East Asian and Korean cultural motifs.

---

Baekseok — Tiger

Baekseok is a guardian tiger with a strong sense of integrity and a sturdy physique. He patrols the entrance of the village and takes responsibility for its security. Although he is younger than Bongsu, he began his life as a gatekeeper at an early age.

He is powerful, yet his hands are soft like padded paws. He always carries the door ring used to close the village gate in his mouth.

Motifs
Korean traditional cloud patterns, white tiger, door ring

---

Bongsu — Bear

Bongsu is a very laid-back student who often takes breaks from studying. He enjoys visiting the place where Heukseok, the tiger, is on duty and waiting there to play baduk with him.

He is a kind moon bear who enjoys sharing with others. He can scratch his own back by himself, and for some reason, he is also very good at scratching other people’s backs.

Motifs
Yugeon, Asiatic black bear, Confucian scholar, traditional back scratcher

---

Sunmu — Rabbit

Sunmu is a rabbit who lives in a green tea field. When Sunmu pokes their face out from the tea bushes, they look like a turnip, which is how they got the name Sunmu.

Sunmu wakes up early at dawn to patrol the green tea field. They have a gentle and calm personality.

Motifs
Green tea leaves, matcha latte, rabbit

---

Stannis — Deer

Stannis is a beginner spice merchant from the north. Though small, he has bright and alert eyes. He is very good at mathematics and mental arithmetic.

With cinnamon and star-anise-shaped antlers, he gives off a warm winter scent when you get close. He has fluffy knitted clothing and soft, wool-like fur.

Motifs
Cinnamon, star anise, abacus, deer

---

Bibi — Marten

Bibi is a swift forest scout who delivers news. Known for quickly carrying good news across the forest and into the village, Bibi lives near the woods and has excellent night vision.

At night, Bibi can be seen softly glowing from afar.

Motifs
Night, fern, blue sapphire, marten
